  • MUST be moved to the site root
  • eg www.example.com/robots.txt
  • AND the joomla folder name MUST be prefixed to all of the
  • paths.
  • eg the Disallow rule for the /administrator/ folder MUST
  • be changed to read
  • Disallow: /joomla/administrator/
